I'm going to be singing in a band for the first time…?
I recently met a friend from College who is having an Alice In Wonderland themed birthday party. She asked me to sing for her boyfriend’s band. The songs are mostly by Paramore.
I have never sung for a band before and there’s going to be a little over 50 people there. I need some tips on how to interact with the crowd?
Also I am not like all of those singers from Flyleaf and Paramore that are all skinny skinny, so I tend to sweat more. Any tips on how to keep cool on stage?
ONE MORE THING! Any one know where to find any plus sized Alice costumes?

Well, you gotta be confident.
Interacting with the crowd:
1. Make eye contact with one person for about 15 seconds, then move to another person, ect. This will help you interact with the crowd without looking nervous and jumpy.
2. Have fun and dance! If you go up there and stand in one spot, no one will want to listen to or watch you sing.
3. Listen to the lyrics, and find spots in the song that mean something to you. (There can be anywhere between 15 and 20, no higher or lower.) Use these lyrics to emphacise what you are doing. For examply, you could go and sing with a band member or do a head/hair flip, or something else you wouldn’t normally do. This will help keep your stage presence energy up.
Costume:
1. I suggest Walmart or Target.
