A friend and I are dressing up as a somewhat updated version of Alice in Wonderland, and The Mad Hatter.
I’m not a huge fan of the more revealing pre-made costumes.
And I wanted something somewhat like this:

hey, im wanting to go as alice in wonderland to a Halloween party.
i dont really want to buy a proper costume
so just wondering if people had any idea’s of what could make the alice costume ?

I need an Alice in Wonderland costume that isn’t too slutty. I like the ones at Hot Topic, but I don’t know how to make it less slutty and it costs too much. I need the costume to be in a -30 range. Can you tell me what store would be good and can you give me the link?
P.S I am around 13.

I dont want a cheep looking costume but cant seem to find anything nice. I am looking for a junior or adult sized costume that isn’t slutty but isn’t as long as my ankles. I havn’t found anything nice at all. Plz help me out. I am having an alice in wonderland party for my 19th and wanted to wear it.

I want to be the Mad Hatter ( Alice in Wonderland book/cartoon NOT Tim Burtons) for halloween but I want to make the costume myself. I’m having slight difficulty since I want it to be cute ( with a puffy green dress and what not) but also look like the character itself.
I’ll probably buy cloths from Wet Seal, Hot Topic, Forever 21 and JC Penny and what not.

Halloween is kinda a big thing around here, everyone likes to decorate and get dressed up. It’s just a fun time and I was thinking about what I was going to be and I had the idea of Alice in Wonderland. I always make my own costumes but never really sew anything. I can sew small things but nothing more. How would you go about this? I’m not sure that I would have a blue skirt but I do have a light denim one . . . any and all help is appreciated!

I have been searching all over the web for an Alice in Wonderland costume for my one month old (who would be three months then) daughter but my efforts have been wasted… Anyone know where I might acquire such an outfit? I really don’t want to have to free hand sew it… Thanks in advance!
