Need help finding an Alice in Wonderland costume?

I want to be Alice in Wonderland for halloween this year, an accurate version (just like the one in the movie, none of the cheap hoochy ones please). I looked at some costumes last year and found a really good, accurate one. It looked exactly like the one they use in Disneyland. I was going to buy it last year but it was about and I didn’t have the money then. I now have the money to get it and have been looking for it but I can’t find it anywhere! I’ve been searching the internet for the past couple days but can’t find a thing. I think I found it on a cosplay site. If anyone knows where to find it or where I could find anything like it I would really appreciate it. thanks!

My wife is a huge fan of the Alice in Wonderland films, and the original book.

She ALWAYS goes as Alice to any costume/halloween parties that we get invited to. She has a couple of off-the-rack costumes, but the quality leaves a lot to be desired. Can anyone suggest a custom costume manufacturer that makes high-quality outfits for reasonable prices?

Please do NOT link me to a trashy lingerie website or say "check Ebay"…. I am looking for someone who can recommend a specific vendor as doing quality custom work.

When I say "reasonable prices", I do not mean to say that I only want to spend . I am willing to pay 0-0 for a QUALITY costume that can be worn time and again, and will not fall apart after laundering.
While I appreciate the time the firs two responders took to answer, neither really answered my question.

The first link is to a standard, off-the-rack, and under costume site, and the second responder basically just said to "check around the net".

I HAVE checked around the net, but I don’t have a clue about the level of quality versus the cost of the outfit from any specific vendor. ALL of them tell you how wonderful their costumes are, but MOST are just retailing the same 5-6 costumes from the same 2-3 manufacturers.

I want to know if anyone has personal experience ordering a CUSTOM-MADE costume like this or similar style (EGL, Lolita) where they were VERY satisfied with the quality of the garment purchased, and would recommend the site/supplier/vendor to others.
I suppose I should have more specific… i mean an ONLINE source. I am not going to take my wife to a local costumer’s to be fitted, I want this to be a total surprise.

I am TRYING to do this far enough in advance so that when Halloween comes around, I will already have it ready and waiting… ;D

got invited to a Halloween party that is pretty formal, and big more like a masquerade. They want you to dress like your charector but no like toy r us costumes. I think it sounds very cool. You are suppose to talk like them to. call us losers who cares their is gonna be like 50 losers. Any way I was going to be the Mad Hatter modern day.

Where do I get the clothes?
I was thinking of dying my hair lighter cause the mad hatter hair is white and I have a golden color of hair so would that look good?

( I know it doesn’t matter since it is halloween but dying your hair last longer then halloween so I want to make sure i am not going to lower my attractivenss cause it is all ready lower then I would like)

my friend and i want to dress up when we see the alice in wonderland movie in march. she’s dressing up as a girl version of the mad hatter and im alice. i want to dress up. i don’t want to b sexy and i don’t want to look frumpy like some of the costumes that look like the real thing. what could i wear? ideas/pics/websites would b helpful thx :) im a teen so that or adult size works

So, all the costumes online are either to "adult" or to expansive for my plans. I’m doing a Trunk or Treat at my church for Halloween, and my friends and I entered in as Alice in Wonderland. Yes, I know, it’s a little early to be thinking about the end of October, but my friends and I want to go a little elaborate this year. We want to either do a theme of Storybook Gone Bad or Dark Alice in Wonderland. Any advice on making a Mad Hatter costume? Even more helpful, any ideas to make it darker, or even evil?

I’m a girl, so my friend and I were thinking that I could wear a black shirt, black leggings or tights, and some sort of black shoes (heels, I may or may not do… It depends on my willpower). Then I was planning on getting a black top hat of some sort, having a bright colored shirt, just to make the hatter seem sort of nuts, a black vest and a tie or bowtie. Does it sound good or do you have any ideas on how to make it better? Also, any advice for how to do the makeup? I’m still gathering ideas now, of course, we won’t actually put the costumes together until October.

I know it’s a bit too early to ask, but I’m thinking about being Alice in Wonderland next year for Halloween and I found a really cute costume online. The long, traditional Alice costumes are really nice too, but I don’t think it’ll look too good on me and I’ve wanted to find a medium length Alice dress, but this is about as close as I got. Halloween is kinda a big thing around here, everyone likes to decorate and get dressed up. It’s just a fun time and I was thinking about what I was going to be and I had the idea of Alice in Wonderland. I always make my own costumes but never really sew anything. I can sew small things but nothing more. How would you go about this? I’m not sure that I would have a blue skirt but I do have a light denim one . . . any and all help is appreciated!
